The Public Link project was present at the "Donostia Innovation Tek" technology showroom as an activity of the San Sebastián Innovation Week.

The Donostia Innovation TEK was held on October 25, 2022, as a day to bring the work made by the city's innovation agents closer to the 450 students taking part in the Donostia Innovation Challenge (a local education program promoted by Fomento San Sebastián to develop innovation related skills, in which students must identify a need or a challenge the city is facing and develop an innovative solution). Around 20 local companies and entities had their own stand at this technology showroom to spread the work they do and enable young students to, literally, touch the innovation.

This technological immersion was completed with different Ted Talks about specific disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printing, Mixed Reality, Internet of Things or Advanced Robotics.

Our local stakeholder CEIT, which is a technology center created on the initiative of the University of Navarra in 1982, was in charge of giving a talk on virtual and augmented reality, in which they explained what this technology is about and what kind of software they develop for the VR & AR equipments. In addition, at their stand, the students were able to experiment this technology and test different applications and games on provided VR headsets.

*The Public Link (TPL), is a project co-funded by DG CNECT - The Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology of the European Commission, which aims to citizen empowerment and improvement of access to public services, through people-centric digital transformation through partners pilot experiences that allow the co-creation of new services derived from the assets, knowledge and expertise supplied by the project and the network.
