Fomento San Sebastián organized the 7th Stakeholder Meeting of the Interreg Europe NOTRE project on November 4th, 2025, at the EKINN building in San Sebastián. The meeting, held in the format of a Corporate Day, brought together key actors from the local biohealth ecosystem, including corporates and start-ups, with the aim of fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation.
The event also served as a Local Communication Event for the NOTRE project, capitalizing on the strong attendance of local ecosystem agents to showcase the work carried out within the project and reinforce engagement with stakeholders linked to entrepreneurship, health, and innovation in San Sebastián.
The session gathered representatives from 9 corporates and 11 local start- ups, creating a dynamic environment for dialogue between established companies and emerging entrepreneurial initiatives in the biohealth field. The meeting opened with an introduction to the NOTRE project, during which Fomento San Sebastián presented the city’s innovation ecosystem, its strategic approach to the health sector, and the role of entrepreneurship as a driver of economic and social development.
This was followed by keynote interventions from participating corporates, who shared their strategic visions, identified opportunities within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and outlined their expectations for collaboration with start-ups. These contributions provided valuable insights into market needs and corporate innovation strategies.
The core of the event was a pitching session in which each start-up delivered a five-minute pitch to present its business model, technological solutions, and value proposition. This was complemented by individual mentoring sessions between start-ups and corporates, designed to explore potential synergies and collaboration opportunities in a more targeted and practical manner.
The Stakeholder Meeting concluded with a networking lunch, offering participants the opportunity to continue discussions, strengthen connections, and identify next steps for cooperation.
Through this Stakeholder Meeting and Pitching Session, Fomento San Sebastián reinforced the objectives of the NOTRE project at local level, promoting collaboration across the biohealth ecosystem and positioning the city as a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and public-private cooperation.
