Urban M is an interregional cooperation project co-funded by the second call issued by the Interreg Europe programme to promote collaborative spaces as drivers of innovative processes.

  • WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

The project aimed to boost collaborative spaces in order to drive innovative processes. To achieve this, factors were analysed that contributed to consolidating and boosting these models as drivers of Innovation in each of the ecosystems.

  • WHAT ACTIONS WERE CARRIED OUT?

The Project ran for 5 years and developed in two stages:

1st stage: Good practice exchange and action plan design stage

In this first phase (3 years) the following were carried out:

    • Interregional workshops
    • Study visits
    • Seminars
    • 1 SWOT analysis

In this first phase, based on the knowledge that they obtained, each partner designed their own action plan.

    2nd stage: implementation stage

The aim of this second stage (which ran for two years) was to implement the action plans and analyse their impact. The thing is that the final aim was to ensure that each partner could influence the political reference tool in which the actions to be carried out in the project were framed.

The Interreg Europe programme agreed to extend the duration of the programme for another 12 months so as to be able to analyse the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the development of each partner’s action plans.

  • WHO FUNDS THIS?
