Project set up to contribute to the cross-border development of the renewable energy sector and energy efficiency in the Basque Euroregion, by launching a business space to encourage R+D+i.

 

  • WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

    A sustainable physical space has been built. A bioclimatic building where energy efficiency is paramount and renewable energies are also incorporated.

    This building houses multidisciplinary technology companies in the sector and other agents linked to the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency (devoted to training, research, technology, consultancy or advice).

    This centre is a space for the consolidation, growth and generation of new employment opportunities that reinforce the economic fabric of this cross-border region.

  • WHAT WERE THE MAIN ACTIVITIES?

    The main actions are:

    • The construction of the ´Enertic Centre´ building (a business space that houses companies in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector).
    • The design of a catalogue of value-added services and activities aimed at companies in the sector in order to improve competitiveness, consolidate and create jobs, achieve the socio-economic development of the cross-border area and create spaces for cooperation that make possible new business and innovation projects and initiatives.
    • The development of the i-Sare project for collaboration in the field of R+D+i and smart micro-grids (which has been located in this centre).
    • The design of an energy blueprint for Industrial Estate 27 and the Urumea Riverside district where this building is located.
  • WHO FUNDS THIS?

    The Enertic project has been partially co-funded by the following organisations: Spain-France-Andorra Territorial Cooperation Operational Programme 2007-2013 (POCTEFA 2007-2013 / EU; EFA 149/09) and Plan Avanza, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (TSI-070200-2009-67)
