AT THE MOMENT WE ARE WORKING ON

 

Project promoted by the European Union to achieve a more sustainable food system. This project combines the experience of 34 partners. These partners include cities, like San Sebastián, universities, NGOs, and industry.

 

  • WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

    The main aim of FUSILLI is to support the European cities that take part in the programme so that they can exchange knowledge and learning to transform the food system. The project is being carried out in 12 cities in Europe.

  • WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE BEING CARRIED OUT?
    • Establishing methodologies to set up the FOOD 2030 living labs test beds. In this way it supports the cities in defining and launching sound harmonized test beds in order to have comparable replicable projects.
    • It sets up FOOD 2030 living labs in 12 cities involved in the FUSILLI project and the European network of Food 2030 Living Labs.
    • It provides the community with knowledge.
    • It designs short and long-term innovative policies and action plans to transform the food system in the cities involved in the project.
    • It develops new business models and funding schemes and innovative uses of public-private funds to encourage the early uptake and the replication of actions linked to the policies defined in each city.
    • It implements and assesses short-term policies and associated actions in the 12 cities involved in the project.
    • It cooperates with other international projects and initiatives to ensure the transfer of knowledge and experience.
    • It is carrying out a communication strategy to raise awareness about the benefits associated with the food system.
