AT THE MOMENT WE ARE WORKING ON

The Public Link Project is a new action promoted by the European Union to explore the use of disruptive technologies in the provision of public services.

  • WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?

The Public Link focuses on empowering people and on improving citizens’ access to public services. To do this it makes use of a digital transformation that focuses on people, on a fair, competitive economy, and a sustainable society.

  • WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE BEING CARRIED OUT?

The project focuses on getting partners to work together to see whether disruptive technologies can be applied in the provision of public services.

This includes using approaches based on virtual/augmented reality (VR / AR), artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, which will be carried out by suppliers of public services from 6 European regions and will be tested with citizens in virtual laboratories in areas like public transport, smart planning, health and information services for visitors / users / customers.

In San Sebastián a "virtual assistant" service with disruptive technologies (AI, IoT, AR/VR, Machine Learning) is going to be developed. It is going to be carried out among the people using Talent House, as the San Sebastián pilot project focuses on a digital service that backs up the strategy of attracting and bringing back talent by promoting the competitiveness and the economic development of San Sebastián.

  • WHO FUNDS THIS?
