Co-funded by the EU Interreg Europe programme, ENAIBLER has emerged to enable regional and local governments to lead AI-driven policies that support the digital transformation of their territories.
- WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT?
ENAIBLER (Enabling AI-driven public sector) is a project whose aim is to enable regional and local public-sector organisations to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) as an effective way of supporting them in the task of achieving the digital transformation of their territories. To do this, a ´capacity-building´ project is proposed for the public sector to improve the provision of public services through IA.
The specific aims are:
- Developing the capacity of public-sector organisations to unlock the benefits of AI in balance with ethical, fair and safety considerations.
- Boosting the role of the public sector as a pioneer and promoter of AI-driven solutions.
- Helping the public sector to implement more open, transparent and ethical policies and services.
- WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE BEING CARRIED OUT?
With regard to meeting the aims of the project, the main activities that are going to be carried out are:
- Analysing the current situation and level of maturity of AI-driven public-sector policies and services.
- Identifying and studying good practices.
- Organising study visits, seminars and exchanging experiences.
- Defining actions to improve public services in accordance with acquired knowledge.
- Organising aware-raising and communication events with local agents and companies that work in the AI sector.
- WHO FUNDS THIS?
