  • Código Oferta:14833
  • Proyecto: MAX PLANCK FOR COLLOIDS AN INTERFACES / BECAS BGI2026 - Diseño y desarrollo de materiales vivos artificiales mediante la combinación de organismos vivos con matrices estructurales para obtener materiales con propiedades multifuncionales, AL / ALEMANIA / Potsdam
  • País: ALEMANIA
  • Municipio: Potsdam
  • Entidad: MAX PLANCK FOR COLLOIDS AN INTERFACES
  • Tipo de contrato: Beca
  • Duración: seis meses
  • Salario mensual: 1.785 euros brutos
  • Observaciones: The main target of the project is the design and development of engineered living materials by combining living organisms with structural matrices to enable materials with multifunctional properties. In particular, we will explore how fungi, bacteria and algae can live onto different porous substrates made up by biobased polymers such as cellulose or chitin. These materials will be carefully analysed in terms of structure, conformation, mechanical response, electrical conductivity, and other relevant applications. We will also target materials that are able to capture atmospheric CO2 efficiently so the development materials could reach net-negative carbon footprint.
