It serves as an umbrella association for numerous history, heritage, and citizenship educators associations and other organizations in the field, with a mission to inspire and empower educators to engage learners in innovative and responsible history and citizenship education.
Interns will have the opportunity to support the work of the Secretariat. Interns will gain practical experience working in a international NGO active in more than 50 coumtries. We maintain a network of 25.000 inspiring history, citizenship and heritage education proffessionals around the globe. Interns will get acquainted with and actively be involved in the organisations day-to-day operations, and they will be working on various projects and areas of work. Depending on the project or area of work interns are involved in, they might join a staff member on work trips abroad. They will also receive in-house training programmes adapted to their professional development needs and interests. They will be assigned a supervisor to manage their progress ad discuss their professional development. EuroClio offers a workspace at the office in The Hague, with access to a work laptop if needed. Our work requires working from the office, though we also offer the flexibility of working remotely on some days of the week. Life and work balance is essential for our ethics, thus we always establish a blanced and flexible approach.
